Germanwings merges website with Condor
March 23, 2006German airlines Germanwings and Condor have signed a new deal that will see their websites become mutually connected.
Germanwings customers will now be able to get access to flight offers from Condor, part of the Thomas Cook group, at the touch of a button.
Travel Daily News reports that this is not the first time Germanwings has consolidated its technology with other airlines.
In 2004 it began co-operating with Polish low-cost airline Centralwings that saw the two companies share marketing and sales activities, as well as IT.
And over the coming year Germanwings plans to extend such partnerships.

Why is it suddenly impossible to go on the Germanwings website? Are locations in the U.S. being blocked from access to this company? The Condor website is no help. The Germanwings flights aren't there.

I have the same question. Why is it not possible to access the Germanwings website and purchase a ticket? It would seem to be a case of intentional attempt to prevent US residents from purchasing cheap tickets for flights inside Europe. If this is true, then this stinks and I am ashamed of Lufthansa - the mother company of Germanwings.
