SN Brussels plans Gatwick increase
August 10, 2005Passengers travelling between London and Brussels will soon have more choice as SN Brussels announces new flights.
The Belgian no-frills airline currently flies twice a day on weekdays and once on Sundays between London Gatwick and Brussels National airports.
However, it has just announced that it has secured two additional weekend slots at Gatwick airport.
This will enable SN Brussels to offer flights from London to the Belgian capital on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The new flights will be welcomed by travellers looking for weekend breaks in the Belgian capital, famed for its café culture, designer boutiques and world-class museums.
Belgium is also famed for its extensive selection of Trappist beers and, of course, for its chocolate, making Brussels an ideal destination for gastronomes.
In addition to the new London flights, the no-frills airline also flies from the Belgian capital to Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Jersey, Manchester and Newcastle airport.
The new flights also enable passengers to fly to SN's long-haul destinations via the Belgian capital.
SN flies to destinations in Africa and North America from Brussels National Airport.
Tickets for flights between Brussels and the UK start from €23 (£15.88).
British airline bmi also offers low-cost flight deals to Brussels from London Heathrow, as well as Durham, Manchester and Nottingham in England and Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Stornoway airports in Scotland.
British Airways also flies from Heathrow to Brussels National.
